Mauvaise surprise à l'Autre Rives a Albi. Nous avons été réveillés en sursaut à 7h20 du matin par un fracas de tuiles brisées, jetées par le voisin depuis son toit. Nous avons demandé à Isabelle, notre hôte, de lui rappeler qu'il y a une maison d'hôte à coté de chez lui, et que ce serait sympa de faire du bruit à une heure plus tardive. Elle nous a répondu qu'il avait raison de commencer à travailler à la fraîche, et que pour sa part ça ne l'avait pas dérangée car elle était déjà debout. Sous-entendu si vous ne voulez pas être dérangés levez-vous plus tôt, et je ne vais pas courir le risque d'un conflit de voisinage pour le confort de touristes de passage. Si ça vous intéresse de voir une maison d'hôte où l'on se fout complètement du client quand il signale que quelque chose ne va pas, venez à l'Autre Rives. Vous y verrez aussi des sièges au bord de la piscine, dont l'inconfort total s'appelle paraît-il du design.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Very central to Albi yet it feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. The grounds are immaculate and the pool is beautiful. Thank you Isabelle for being an amazing host. We cannot wait to return!

My stay here was an absolute treat! I felt very much at home thanks to the host, but also appreciated their non-invasiveness. The home is beautifully decorated and very well soundproofed with easy parking. I appreciated the homemade yogurt and breakfast baked goods. The huge garden Was a peaceful respite after touring. The hotel is an easy and extremely pleasant 15 minute walk from the Saint Cecile Cathedral, which is a stunning must see site. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The Chateau was a wonderful find in Albi walking distance to the historic center. The owners renovated the home with a keen eye of design and detail. Very comfortable bed and large room. Delicious breakfast in the morning.

We had a lovely and great stay at L’autre Rives. The property and the room (Boroque) are very beautiful and well designed. We enjoyed our conversations with the host very much. She was very kind and gracious. Breakfasts were delicious every day. The bed was comfy and the sauna was delightful after walking the whole day. We highly recommend this BnB!
